My research focuses on boundaries and strata in society, where they come from, and how they affect people’s lives. For example, I am interested in the social forces that influence segregation in our schools and various other social domains, as well as the ways people from different social positions try to navigate society to maintain or improve their social standing. *This is my personal website; my statements here don’t represent my employer.
